Vx seat in vr commodore

Hi I'm getting vx front seats can I get seat rails so I can put them in vr ss cheers info would be great

I did the conversion in my VP ute.
It wasn’t easy, nor straight forward.
It required thick steel and lots of grinding.

I was able to get the two together. Made it strong as buggery.

I don’t recall if I posted here on the forum though. Would have been like 2006 or 07.

I do know the floor pans are different....I looked at putting in VT to VZ in my VC and realised how much of a PITA it was going to be, so I went with VS seats....Alot easier....

Yes. You have to make it. Some hardened steel (not mild steel) flat bar. 60mm x 5mm was what I used if my memory from 15 years ago serves me.

Hmmmm, I thought the same thing. But then I thought I read @NORTI used the VT seats and bolted them to VR stock rails?

I used to have photos, some where, of it. If I say I’ll look for them, it will end up on my list of things to forget.

Nope....Use the rails as suggested
