A probable cause for lack of flow/power

And progress after day 1, replacing melted PS hoses, etc, stripping the side of the engine down to make way for the adapted manifold and T51R.

Bloody hell, I didn't think stainless gaskets failed like that!

Neither did I :/

This one practically had its arse blown out, god knows how long I was spitting exhaust out into the engine bay for. Glad i decided to give it a decent overhaul.

The HKS T51R I chose was the 1000hp SPL, basically because it has enough flow to push big numbers but still has the wank factor of the anti surge housing (747 spool), that, and I still havent seen an LS engine with one on it. Being adapted to the T4 manifold at the moment, then needs;
-New dump pipe
-Pacemaker on the 'cold side instead of cast manifold.
-rejig boost controller
-Redo fuel system with Teflon braid, new fittings, etc
-retune

all this plus sealing up my exh leaks, hoses etc I should be pushing very close to 600rwhp @10psi. I'll be pretty stoked with 550-600, but it'll all be in the drive I guess.
Was thinking of doing the cam at the same time, but funds don't permit I dont think. (Clutch $2k, Turbo $3k, etc)

Managed to start the car (finally) the other night.

Ran pretty well, took it for a putt around the block to make sure no leaks, etc, all seems well.

I had my intercooler the right way up this time, but, without even realising, the fkn fog lights on the ss bar prevented me from attaching the bumper. I need to remount the cooler upside down again, but, i've since cut all the silicon bends to suit the current setup.
Which means I need some more. Expensive. :censored:

Once the cooler is done then the car should be good to go, but i'm still needing to redo the fuel lines in the boot to teflon braid to stop the fuel stank.
