VX SS Single Turbo

Interesting last few weeks with the car.

Below is a quick vid of 2nd,3rd,and 4th pull.

After that, I called the DPI to renew my license for Powercruise, and they politely informed me that the car is no longer registered, as they didn't change my address when I rang up to ask them to do so.

As a result the registration renewal has been sent to my old address, and the cars rego has expired. Which means it must now pass over the pits. Obviously not passing the way it is, I have a few choices, either gut/drift/race it, try to engineer it, and then have it road legal so I can cruise in peace, and then get to selling it when she is running perfectly in the new year, or, bringing it back to stock and passing over, then throwing the kit back on.

I undertand the onus is on myself to renew, but with no window stickers to remind me and leading somewhat of a busy life, these things tend to slip my mind.

And then they send me a 'Would you like an SMS or Email to remind you to renew your rego' AFTER ITS EXPIRED. ffs.

How did you pipe the right side exhaust to the turbo? There's not alot of room in the engine bay.

Why did you have to change the sump?

Why did you have to change the sump?

The exhaust from the right side passes under the gearbox via a crossover, and comes up into the turbo manifold. The crossover etc should come with any kit that you buy. The sump needs to be modified with a fitting, which accommodates the oil that drains out of the turbo, this goes into the sump.

Car hasn't seen alot of road lately, only done about 1500kms since this time last year.

I'm all ready for Powercruise this Friday however. Had the guys from Ramp Auto Group in Malaga make me up a 4" dump pipe, remove the cat, move the fuel system to underneath the car, and upgrade the wastegate spring from 7 to 10psi.
Should free the car up a whooole lot more, and see close to 550rwhp when shes retuned tomorrow.
