VY II exec.

Hey guys good to be a member on the forum after spooking around for a while.

-Well heres my first car, a '04 VY II exec.
-3.8L Ecotec V6
-Bought it with 99k for around $11 grand.
-About as stock as you can get at the moment apart from the tint.
-Hoping to get it looking a little meaner sticking within budget.

I am looking to do a few mods/upgrades soon but im pretty new on all this.


heres a pic of the car, or at least what it look like before i smashed the front end in.


Stuff Im hoping to have done soon(order of importance):
1. Get car colour coded done
2. SS front bar, ss grille, reinforcement bar, bonnet done
3. new wheels done
4. 2 1/4 exhaust
5. Lowered
6. SS headlights and tail lights
7. SS full body kit

and in the future possibly some engine mods.

Also suggestions for an audio upgrade on a budget?

White would looks pretty cool. my black got detailed recently so it actually kind looks cool brand new. Have you thought about a chrome strip to match the rear one?

i wouldnt go bigger than 18's or 19's, save u having issues with suspension setup & scrubbing.

mate go for quality in your stereo, im running all alpine gear except the amps and love it, it has the bass there but not to much and the quality of it is amazing

update on the car here guys. taken a while but ive got the front end fixed up now. got an ss front bar with foggies. debadged the v6 badges on the sides. also got the rest of the car colour coded to get rid of those terrible black door strips, sideskirts and bumper. so stoked, front end looks mean and rest of the car looks shmick.
still waiting on one more foggie that didnt come in the mail.

nice car, as for the sound system go Alpine you will love it, black mags will look sweet as long as you have a polished lip:spot on:.. maybe take the side molds off all together? look forward to seeing some wheels on her,

yea mate 20'' look realii nice yesterday i went and bought the new ve gts 20'' go down a treat on my car.. show u a picture i got the same car just vz with clubsport body kit its the bees knees

Take the strips off mate will make the car look clean as! Also get some ss headlights or paint those ones.
