I am looking to hard wire a Bluetooth adaptor in my VYII.

I've read that there's a mobile phone port on the passenger side of the centre console in VY's. You can get a Holden plug that fits mobile phone port. This plug was used in the old days to wire in aftermarket mobile phone kits.

My reading shows that the Holden plug has the following pin wire inputs:

Pin 1. Orange - 12V Supply (Battery via fuse... always on)
Pin 2. Black/Green - 0V (Chassis, earth, ground).
Pin 3. Yellow - 12V Accessory Supply
Pin 4. Yellow w/stripe - Radio Mute signal. Active Low.
Pin 5. Blue w/stripe - Audio-
Pin 6. Blue - Audio +

The cable from my Bluetooth adaptor has a black wire for ground, and a red wire for switched 12v power.

So, I could simply wire the Holden plug (via the spade connectors used for the mobile phone kits) as below:

Bluetooth adaptor red wire into Pin 1 - Orange.

Bluetooth adaptor black wire into Pin 2 - Black/Green.

All the other pins on the Holden plug remain empty.

Can anyone see any issues with this?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I should clarify, I'm not fitting a car kit, I'm wiring in a Bluetooth adaptor. RCAs on one end, 12v power on the other.

The 12v is as shown below (that's the kit I'm using), with the red and the black wires. So, I'm wiring that into the Holden plug, that's why I wasn't looking at the loom option.

You want plug marked 45. Identified as X155 elsewhere in the manual.

What do the rca's plug into?

What do you want to acheive with this setup?

I have the RCA mod done to my factory Bluapunkt 6 stacker, so that's where the RCA's plug into as they run directly to the same location that this plug is located as per the diagram above. I'm adding this RFBTRCA adaptor for Bluetooth audio through that headunit.
