Hey guys i'm new to the forum so i'd thought i'd post a thread on the old girl...Itz a VY SS ute with a few mods nothing as nice as a few of the cars i've seen on here..The motor is a bit tired now but have aquired a new block which i'll get into later....

Current Mods:-

Polished and ported heads
stainless valves
Yella Terra Roller Rockers
Lunanti Double Valve Springs
cam and lifters(i can't rember the size had it done over 6 years ago and can't find the box it came in and the shop that put it in is now closed)
T-REX inline fuel pump (it used to have a V-2 on it)
60lb injectors
pro flow fuel rails
MSD coil packs and leads
VCM OTR and mafless
Difillipo Extractors and twin 3 inch
SS induction Throttle Body
Xtreme Clutch
Rip Shifter
3.91 diff

Bagged all round
Whiteline adjustable sway bars front and back
20inch rims(which i'm gonna change for some deep dish action) mmm deep dish

VE GTS leather seats
HSV Dash and door scuff panels
Candy apple red centre console and dash
Red leather Trim panels
Heads Up display

I will post engine bay just itz a bit dirty at moment and bit imbarrassed.

I have aquired a new engine off a friend...itz a
LQ9 408 iron block
102 Callies Crankshaft
030 forged pistons
ARP main studs
L98 heads
Double row timing chain
High Volume Oil Pump
3L surge tank
twin bosch 044s but might add a thrid
No cam yet(he hand't decided turbo or blower and neither have I) Any thoughts????
I have this lying around..Itz a V4-XX Vortech similar to a V7YSI i think(don't quote me on this)

Has anyone used one of these before???I know itz huge...
Thinking of getting a VE shell instead and using this one and a towie and setting up proper specd instead Drags roll cage ANDRA etc. for safety..

good luck with future mods mate,.hope that charger works out, itd be an absolute animal with that strapped to the side of the block :thumbsup:

Cheerz mate..Was a bit up in the air when i was getting them painted but am happy with the effect...Looks awesome when the sun hits it..:rockon:

only thing i'd say i'm not a fan of is the wheels, but you're going for deep dish and that's what i would've suggested!
where'd you pick up the HUD from and how's it work?

where'd you pick up the HUD from and how's it work?

Cheerz mate..yeah when i bought those rims was looking for that studded 3 piece rim look(like the old simmons) but...could not find what i wanted... When i was in the states i found an awesone shop that does custom deep dish rims for the commodore/GTO offset...fffin fat...can't wait to get em...As for HUD i bought that in america for $40 US you can probably see that the wire into the unit is for left hand drive...it hooks into OBD port so it is accurate...also has different modes for voltage and code reading too....
