VY V6 Ecotec Coolant

Hi. I have bought 12L worth of Nulon SCRLLTU-SIX Organic Coolant from Supercheap for my VY V6 Commodore. Can I use the red stuff instead of green? I have read that the green coolants further prevent corrosion in cast blocks. I am doing a complete overhaul of the cooling system. Thermostat, Water Pump, Hoses, and a complete flush out. I don't know much about coolants so this is my last resort for decent information.

I don't run coolant, waste of time in a hot climate.

Can’t go wrong with either penrite or nulon, just make sure you use the correct type which is green in your case

I used to use 10/10 in the Senator since it was great in the Z Maloo. But turns out the Senator prefers Nulon. I switched back 18months ago after replacing everything in the cooling system.

For all the 5Ls and V6s we use Nulon. For the LS we use 10 tenths.
