Vy- vz alloytec

I have a vy starter motor would it fit in my 2005 vz alloytec iv had so many mixed answers don’t want to put it in until I know it’s going to work thanks

Completely different motor, i'd be like trying to swap a 304 Holden V8 starter into an LS1. Having said that, I'm not 100% sure it's not possible.

Post a pic of the VZ starter and I will tell you if it is different to an Eco one. IIRC when I bought my brand new starter it was compatible with an Eco and I have a Buick.

Alloytec & ecotec starter motors are completely different.
NOT interchangeable.

Above pic shows VZ, Like Lex said nup they bolt up differently.
