Hi guys old thread i know... Im just wondering in the L3 vy calais dash clusters how are people changing the 3 lcd screens to a blue colour? Or if possible white like the guy who just changed his needles and faces? And info on bulb type and if diy is an option? Any help would be great! Cheers

If you do not have good to expert level experience with PCB soldering, don't think about trying to trying to change the LEDs behind the windows at home.

If I remember correctly you have to desolder the LCD screens to get to the LEDs, and too much heat will kill the board.

Oh i see, i do know an old guy who spent most of his life working in the army as a electronic tech and usually mends my broken stereos ect i might give him a go at it, ive tryed to find the sort of globe it will take for the lcds but cant find anything at all anywhere (yes not even google)

Yes, all you need to do is get someone to put it in the settings / tune for you (EFI Live / VCM etc)

I finally found a calais cluster and switched fascias and needles. Thankyou so much for your tips and info. Your a lifesaver. So happy with it now!
