2005 VZ Crewman S Pack
I’ve had my red ‘05 crewman for about 12 months now... wondering if anyone with the same ute has changed rims and what they put on. Black, alloy, VE or VF ect. Any ideas what will look good? Cheers

A Crewman is classed as a utility & uses the same rims as other Commys rated up to approx. 650Kg per corner.
On my Crewie fitted up WM Caprice wheels using 245/45/18"s all round. Many say they won't fit the front without
wheel spacers. They fit mine without modification only centres bored & clear strut towers by approx. 7mm.

Crewie wasn't fitted with light truck tyres & only rated at the same carrying capability as a utility.;)

You're both right and wrong at the same time

The base model V6 Crewman and the V6 Crewman S were both fitted with light truck tyres from the factory
The base model and the "S" had a load carrying capacity of 1070kgs which required the fitment of the light truck tyres

The SS Crewman was the model that was not fitted with light truck tyres from the factory
As the SS Crewman only had a load carrying capacity of 721kgs so it did not require light truck tyres

Factory Wheels & Tyres (Factory optional wheels not listed)
Crewman 15 x 7 steel rims with 215/65 R15C tyres....Load Index of 104
Crewman S 16 x 7 alloy rims with 215/65 R16C tyres....Load Index of 106
Crewman SS 17 x 8 alloy rims with 225/55 R17 tyres....Load Index of 97

The C after the numbers means commercial vehicle tyres....Or light truck as they are commonly known....Just providing this information for future reference in case anyone is interested
