VZ Executive Auto Fuel Consuption 13-15L/100km

Hi all.

Got a VZ Executive auto which has "POWER" mode off and is being driven like any normal car, to give you an idea it shifts up at around 2000-3000rpm, no higher than that.

However, my fuel consumption is NEVER below 13L/100km, I find this extremely hard to believe, so I reset the ECU (disconnected battery) and still get roughly the same. I've also had a service in the last 500km.

Any ideas why? My folks VE SS Manual gets around 14L/100km and gets driven pretty hard.

I get better economy out of my vz 6 spd SS 6 Litre than I did in my vy v6 and my VR v6.

Yep our vz exex alloytec gets those sort of figures,pos of a thing

Funny how i just got 9.9L per 100km and my avg is no worse then 10.6L per 100km

Could be ur oxy sensors.
What petrol do u use?

I just did my oxy sensors and it dropped from 18l/100km to 15l/100km @ an avg speed of 35km/h.

Which lambda/Oxygen sensors did you change. All 4 Or just fronts or rears??

I just changed the front two sensors before the cats.
Do u know what the rears are good for? Do u reckon I should change the rears aswell?
