VZ SV6 5-Speed Auto 4th-3rd Clunk

Hey Everyone,

I have an issue with what appears to be the transmission in my 04 SV6.
When the car is cold and I'm using Active Select, shifting from 4th - 3rd results
in a long delay (~2seconds) and then a very noticeable clunk :bang:
Once the car has warmed up it appears to change fine.

Has anyone had this problem or may know what it could be?

how many kms u done? have you checked your auto trans fluid levels?

It's done about 68,000km.
No, it was serviced not too long ago but will check it tonight anyway...

i think nordy was having the same problem as you, as with some other sv6 owners, the result being his diff has to be rebuilt... not saying your does to but your case sounds similar to his, might be a good idea to ask him, see what how hes goin about it
