or you might just get lucky, take your old VX in to pickup a second key for a relatives new Equipe, and end up driving out in an ex police VZ that you parked next too :whistling

If you can help it don't buy an ex-police car.

Most have had a VERY hard life.

an sv6 has fe2 as standard suspension, and most have side airbags, lsd.

the codes will be part of the vin number.

I think the FR1 code is the 'country pack suspension'. If so, this means your car sits a little higher than the 'STD' suspension commodores.

I emailed holden the vin number of my vz 2005 model only 50ks (ex nsw rural fire service)in the reply they told me it came with Heavy duty batteries (Dual) police wiring, rear park assist, sump guard, (about 5 mm thick),interior lights out function, high output alternator 120 amp, fe2 sports suspension, lsd, dual horns, police front disc pads, 15 " steel wheels. This pack is known as a vehicle emergency pack. My vz has side air bags as well as a black dash.

I have a VZ Adventra with most of the same stuff as above, its a great car, EX VIC Cop.

Im also interested in this "black dash" thing, do Adventra's have some other color dash and the cops had black only?

why would you want an ex cop car

there is no such thing as a cop chip in them
they dont get run in ever unless u call hitting the rev limiter all the time being run in

think of the deros that have sat in the back
