check if it will be able to be registered
as authorities dont like older motors fitted to newer cars
also different teeth count on crank angle sensor

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
VZ SS is fly by wire.
I doubt it will be registrable with out it.
You’ll need the associated throttle control module and harness, and the correct pedal which sells for $1500 used!

There are adaptor harness's and modules that allow V6 pedals to be used now. Still will need to add a few hundred to the job.

Different radiator. Different fans.

You may need different AC compressor as it’s different on V8 to V6 VZ and different to VU. Different AC lines.

You will need to change brakes and maybe master cylinder, double check that one.

Fuel pumps are the same, no change needed there. VZ V8 are returnless systems. You might need fuel lines though. Or at least the fuel line to the motor from the firewall.

You will need to play knifey spoony with BCM etc. VZ SS doesn’t use a PIM module so you’ll need a VZ SS engine loom and dash/body loom. That is a horrid job.

You’ll need a Tech2 to pair up and VIN match the modules. You also need Tech2 to set up the cluster to work correctly for V8 v V6.
