Wanting to paint Omega badge

apparently the SS grille will go on the omega bar - but with some minor modification - not sure of the details, but I'd imagine you'd need to trim down some of the tabs that hold it in place.

not a straight swap, no. Could be wrong, but my understanding is that you'll need to modify it slightly to get it to fit.

and you don't have to spend $170 on a grille. There's a million on ebay for peanuts from people who have bought chev grilles.

I can recall some mods are needed to the locating tabs.

Do a search mate, i think you will find a more defined answer.

im buying it on ebay just thought this site had a better pic, should be able to get it for around $70-80

I Hope this not to much moding to be done, I did a comparison on looks and they appear to be the same layout for the tabs

I will get back to you guys on if it fits, lets hope it does coz stock looks garbo

Ive looked and can't find anything on trying to get the Omega grille to the honeycomb looking grille HELP

There's a few guys who have done it. It's either the number of tabs or the size of the tabs (in which case, you'd just need to trim them). I'm not sure of the details

I believe it's the bottom row of locating tabs that needs attention mate.
