I just had the 3000km done on my VF clubby, that is tuned with an exhaust and intake, no issues, they did the update, and I got the car back feeling the same as it did before?

That's exactly what I wanted to hear.

Holden are full of **** sometimes. There's no way of them knowing that a car has been tuned providing It was maf tuned. Thats what I've been told anyway, as Holden can't actually access that part of the ECU. (programming, tuning etc..) could be wrong but that's what I was told.

they dont have the ability to adjust the tuning part but if u have seen any tuner flash on a tune, before it is flashed it is wiped clean then flashed on fresh thats why when u get ur car tuned if u have set your dash lights dimmed or interior lights off when done they will be back to factory brightness, if ur tuner stops a flash half way ur computer is a brick and gets a warning on the dash saying to go to holden because its blank, so when holden does an update and they flash the ecu your tune gets wiped back to standard weather they know or not...

pretty sure this is not new news to Commodore owners.

I know so many people who have had tunes wiped by service updates etc. If you tune your car and run aftermarket performance parts its best to just avoid Holden and get the tuning workshop to service it and maybe update the software too if you feel its that important.
