Ok might already be in here but got some info that might help out.

Not too sure what model but belive its the VX up.

DO NOT PUT YOUR UBD / Refidex etc in between the seat and centre console as it can dislodge an airbag sensor that attached down there and cause the airbag light to come on and STAY on even once reconnected.

If someone knows exactly what model please put a post in.

It happens to VT onwards models with seatbelt pretensioners (which the latch end is attached to on the side of the seat) - the plug on them is almost visible down the gap.
It also happens to AU onwards fords that run the same pretensioners.

The pretensioners are triggered (and diagnosed) via the airbag circuits - hence why the airbag light comes on.

Just happened to the missus Astra. Althought it came loose by itself...
