Get a lock up stall. It will drive just like a stocker. But when u nail it, it will be like hitting power band on a 2stroke.

Being a Sunday drive is all the more reason to do it.

I've got a 5200 in mine and ill never look back.

Doesn't matter how much power u make. It's where u make it. Without a stall it will feel like its doing nothing and then bang u will hit the power range.

Superchargers make more boost as the revs are increased... Quicker it beings up the revs the quicker you make power.

Faster takeoff/higher stall for mad skids
Basically puts you striaght in peak power from takeoff, just need to find the right spot where you still have traction

Ok I get you.
But with 450KW & 780Nm I think launching at peak would be not what I'm after.
I will still be finding the traction sweet spot at 2000 revs, I imagine.

anyway thanks, I think I will just keep the standard for now.
I can always upgrade later.

But I get how it works now.

no i dont have 450kw but i can tell u that you will regret not getting one every car that is auto with work done to it has a stall behind it and if you dont get one for the extra 1000 it will cost or less then spending however many thousand you are going to is just a waste plus he stock converter with that much power behind it will probly die quickly so do it once and do it right

U won't be making that power at 2000 rpm thought. Be more like 3500+

FYI I made 800nm cam only so I'd want a hell of a lot more then that.

Do it once do it right!!!. Will cost u more doing it later as the tune will have to be re done.

Actually I don't think the Walkinshaw/Edelbrock do that, they are positive displacement or something like that(don't quote me on what its called) this from what I have read means they pump the same amount of air into the cylinder regardless of the rev range. They pretty much have a near linear Torque curve, so good low down Torque, not much different to the Torque peak.

They will make bulk at idle but more as the rpm increases.

That's a lot of Torque from a Cam only.
What was that in?
The VE has 530nm stock so 800 with just a cam would be a huge gain.
