What makes a cam lumpy?

my cam is 113LSA
as said, LSA isn't the only determining factor of 'lumpiness'. Duration also plays a big part.

My 304 has a 'lope' to it's idle. But nothing over the top, as drive ability was a high priority for me. The quality of the engine tune also can determine the quality of the idle

in the tune lol, when i had a 224/228 112 cam fitted it didnt have much lumpyness on idle so got the idle changed to make it more lumpy.

My LSA was 114 and it had a bit of burble and shake while idling in a M6 VX Monaro. For the new beast it'll be at least 112 or maybe even 110 cause it probably wont be a daily driver.

However, everyone is different and each to their own. It would be best to go to meets and listen to cam combos and try and scam a ride with them to help you decide.
