Can’t help but read such articles and wonder how stupid we are as a nation…

China‘s currency doesn’t float and thus isn’t directly valued by market forces so the government can be directly in control of their economy and the prices it’s manufacturing complex put out to the world. Then buy our minerals cheap as input to their manufacturing complex and we buy back manufactured goods paying a premium for their value adding… while we as a nation get further behind… China’s living standards are rising while ours are falling

If there was an idiot olympics, we’d be winning gold
Everything is manipulated by the CCP in China! Don't believe anything they say.

Not believing anything Chine say.

Over the years I’ve been seeing all our manufacturing leaving this country while China becomes a manufacturing powerhouse says enough.

And have seen our dollar slide since it was first floated while our government chants free market and level playing fields

We can’t even be self sufficient in urine (adblue) within this country, though have an excess of verbal excrement coming from Canberra

But really, this subject is for another thread :p

China manipulates all their statistics to make it suit their narrative.

BTW, many large manufacturers are starting to abandon China. Watch that space. The current favourite term from countries that trade/manufacture with China is "de-risk".

If Stellanris leaves, those who own ZB commodores may loose another avenue for spare parts :(
Stellantis is Fiat/Chrysler/Jeep, not GM.
