Whats ppls lowest fuel consumption

Have a vy2 V6 S 5spd man since new. Now has 154,000km. tyre pressure 40psi, using mobil 1 since new.
best ever, Campbelltown to Perisher Valley & return on 1 tank, trip comp showing 920km, 6.8L/100km, 140km to empty, av speed 87.3km/h.
usually syd to gold coast at speed limit 7.2 to 7.4 L/100km. with cruise control it's low 8's.
around town, short trips 10.5 to 11.5 L/100km.
Aust standards test say 6.8 Hwy & 10.0 city.

Mild VY SS 5.7L with MAF Tune and Mods to front end to increase cold air induction...seems to have worked

After: 7.9L/100 Freeway - 11.3L/100 City

last time I checked my 5L was around 11L/100ks. my wifes honda jazz on the other hand happily sits on 5.9L/100ks all day (unless im driving it, then it goes up to 6.5)

Was doing city style driving today and giving it a bit of a squirt to test out a mates new car too (see what his could do in comparison). Was at 13.2L/100km. Lowest city was proably in the 11's.

Freeway, that's another story, on the way from Sydney To Melbourne [via canberra] with about 200km stretch of on and off roadworks i saw it just hit 7.0l/100km. I want to do that run again sometime though without roadworks to see exactly what it gets!

VY V6 ecotec...highway at 110km/h 7.4L-8.6L. and city anywhere between 10L-11.8L and if i drive it hard nothing over 13.3L. pump ur tyres u'll feel the road more but. adverage is 11.3L in city.
