The whole point of this thread is to highlight origins, not actual citizenship or nationality.

Identifying with a country is pretty irrelevant anyway. I've got much better things to define myself with than the country I live in or the country I was born in.

I personally don't call myself Australian/Indian or anything, simply Shounak.

Well, actually the thread is entitled "Nationality" in which case, I'm Australian/American I do hold dual citizenship and have permanent residency in Japan but do not intend to becoma citizen there as it will mean giving up one my of Citizenships.

My mum was born in england in 1949, came to aus when she was 8yrs old.
My dad was born here, and my grand father was born here too... before that i got no idea.. not really into family tree ****.

what natio am i hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.............i'm half pop-top and half orange juice. i have the goodness of natural juice plus the added flavour of the pop-top. i hate it when people call me a half cast, such an ugly description. please no more haters.
