Wheel clearance for bigger brakes

I would've sacked the bloke responsible for those wheel specs, a complete idiot!

Should've been 20x8.5 +38 and 20x10 +50. Then they could've run 245/35 and 285/30 with the same diameter tyres front and rear on the ideal width rims. Why bulge a 275/30 on a 9" wheel so the rear tyre diameter is smaller than the front, unbelievable!

I totally agree, it's poor form.

I went to a wreckers today that had a VE with Brembos on the front, The guy didn’t remove my rim to try it but he did measure it and he was pretty adamant that they won’t fit..
Tried to get him to remove it still but he was a bit arrogant an said they won’t fit.. Might try go to another wreckers at some stage to try test it again..
