I got some secondhand saas seats cheap because they have no brackets where would I source some to fit a vy ute? Saas don't have their own website I don't think

I believe you will have to make them. Also have some lube ready for when you need to claim insurance or you have to get a roadworthy inspection.

Don't need lube if you have a chastity belt in the form of an engineering cert.
Permits make good lube tho they can still #### ya pretty hard.

EDIT: so they can't be sourced? Trying to avoid welding coz it take's the viscosity out of the lube and thorns off the belt

You must retain the seat belt pretensioners, if you have side impact airbags than you must retain them too. Also the SSAA seats must recline.

Keen to hear how they go, I really want to get rid of my gawd awful drivers seat, really sucks when I'm having a squirt.

Will post up pics when I get around to the job. Planning and ordering parts stages ATM. Maybe do a tutorial when I get around to it.

The seats do recline.
I plan to keep seatbelts stock. No side impacts.

Saas are ADR compliant, I wouldn't worry about the lube too much. Hell, if stock commodore seats are compliant, so is a carton of piss with a cricket bat taped to it.

Hmm well if you keep it to that level and get the certificate, you should be OK.

Hard part is that a cop might ignore the mod plate (or whatever they use in WA) and send you in for an inspection anyway.
