Many members complain about white smoke.
What is the difference between white smoke and condensation ? (Not a riddle.)

White smoke usually indicates moisture whether its leaking from motor or moisture in the exhaust

Does the “smoke“ smell like anything? If it doesn’t really smell like anything other than normal exhaust then it’s probably just condensation.

Don’t discount odd situations where parking the vehicle in a particular way can results in rain entering the muffler outlet and running down into the bowls of the exhaust. Such can result in the vehicle splutter out water and/or steam when the vehicle is started.

If you still get steam occurring after a long run has blown out everything within the exhaust and then park and it occurs again even when it hasn’t rained, you’ve got another problem…

You haven’t got a dog that often walks around the back of the car and cocks its leg? That would smell odd… :p:p:p
