why am i getting further in power mode?

No it's not bad for the auto at all. I personally don't use it around town because I have a custom shift map set up by greenfoam that suits me perfectly.

I use the power shift map in my parents' cars (Ecotecs), they seem to handle it better. That's just because the Ecotec is **** at making low RPM torque.

Leave it in economy mode and leave it in 3rd gear instead of drive???????

just put it in drive and use power

from what i could see from looking at the ecu file pwr mode also increases the pressure for 1st and 2nd gear. that might help since it'd use less power to get it moving with more pressure in the lines.
