Aaaaargh! That statement sets my teeth on edge like biting tinfoil with a gold tooth, the squeal of a fork scraping on a china plate, feedback through a public address system, the thought of being castrated. A four cylinder Mustang is just so wrong.

Anyway, back on topic, the Holden dealership I bought my Magnum from here in the north of NZ has these new unregistered Commodores listed on their website:

2 Director (phantom + heron)
2 Motorsport (heron)
13 SS-V Redline (nitrate, lmf, red hot, spitfire, slipstream, soag)
5 SS (phantom, red hot, soag)

All sedans. The only utes are Colorados ant the only wagon is one ZB Calais-V hatchback

That's possible....I know of someone that bought a new 4 cyl Mustang from Melbourne because the price was $5,000 cheaper to his Adelaide doorstep than it was buying new from here.

I did it bought my ss from Geelong and drove back, Adelaide dealers were 4k more for older builds.

My mate flew Syd to Perth for SS-V wagon and drove back to save a few grand, he also bought a Magnum in Hobart same reason drove it to QLD (with no plates).
He thinks the Magnum will be worth a bit coz only a couple hundred had the special stickers.

WOW.
So He's thinking 240x utes with Magnum stickers makes it collectible, yet there were only 1100 utes without stickers. Or another way to put it is having a black station wagon is twice as rare (2.4x) vs owning a Magnum!
Seems the bright Green or Orange wagon even the Blue is heaps more collectible?

Mate, new was between 63 and 65k. they had a couple of used ones (under 1000km) which were around $55k
