Windscreen facia/wiper plenum left over part

Edit: Solved! The part is stuck on the very edge of the drivers side facia. Pic provided

I had my windscreen replaced today.

Person fitted the screen and afterwards said "this part is left over, couldn't find where it came from, sorry" handed me the part then finished up.

My question is: where the hell does this go? Rubber part has "R" embossed, so I'm guess right hand side.

I pulled the facia/plenum off again to try and figure it out but I'm having zero luck. It's not mentioned in my workshop manual either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is that a strut brace you have installed or something else completely?

It’s the wiper arms and the edge of the firewall when the wiper lives. It has the cover off.
