Windscreen wiper arms

Is there a easy way to get the windscreen wiper arms off.....my car has got the GREAT *insert sarcastic smily here* 1 and 2 air con switch failing thingy.

Any help would be great :cry:

In the past I have used a 13mm spanner and undid the nut from the arm and then get a flat screwdriver and lever it under the peice of arm that goes on the wiper pivot and it should come up rather easily.

Yep I took the nut off then raised wiper a tad (this helps), levered it back and forth a bit and it came off easily. I did the screwdriver trick for the other one

Yeah I got the nut off, then pryed it off with a flathead screwdriver. Too bad this rounded it out. :\ Now one of the plastic screws isnt on there.
