Pulled the seat covers off too. They've been on since 03. Never smelt anything so disgusting as the rear seat covers, in any car ever.

Ok so interior is actually pretty damn good for a 25 year old car. I was expecting the worst under the seat covers but nothing bad. Seat covers have left some yellowy stains behind in some areas so I'll have to hire an upholstery/carpet cleaner. Be a good chance to do all 3 cars anyways.

Well looks like we may be getting most of the stuff to make this right. Coincidentally the guy I am buying the gearbox and LSD from is wrecking an MX6. He's offering damn good prices for things. So far I am probably getting the headlights and corner lights as they are stuffed. He's also got the boot spring and also a non broken door handle in black which won't look too bad.

So first drive to exhaust shop was interesting to say the least. Transmission definitely needs a service as it doesn't work very well cold. Exhaust is stuffed but no surprises there. Exhaust shop is going to sus it out a little and see if they can pick up anything else it may fail roadworthy on as well.

New exhaust is on and the exhaust guy looked after me on price which was good. When I picked it up this morning it sounded like a rex and had zero power so figured spark plugs but had no idea how bad it was. Changed plugs and put the leads from the blue one onto this. She purrs now. Still a slight idle issue in drive but I will figure it out.

Still good for another 50k kms right?
