    Has anyone been able to run a 304 efi in a VK calais and have full functionality of the electronic dash, ie trip computer etc? Ive had a bit of a search but couldnt find anything. If it can be done, which wires would go where?

    hunt down the factory VK manual if you can, it has the routing of the looms, wiring diagrams etc, so you'll be able to compare the digital and analogue ones.

    I had competition pacemakers on oldschool heads, that combo copped a fair bit of punishment. rack never leaked a drop in 5 years. Pretty sure those pipes passed pretty close to the power steering too.

    what carb are you running now? an impco 425 is an improvement over the snorkel set up. open up the divider in the intake manifold for LPG. you'd gain nothing more from upping the exhaust to a 3" unless you went a big cam and a lot of headwork. a crane 286 is a decent lively cam in a 308

    agreed, but they're using them with 3 speeds, which in my opinion is a waste of time. But Yeah if i ever went a 4 speed I'd contemplate it as a way around adapting a shifter for that box into an early car.

    power supply in the instrument cluster.... OR check the round plug that goes into the back of it, that one has the constant power, ignition power and earth wire in it, make sure the plug goes on nice and tight or else it's probably caput.... pm me and I can probably email you a bunch of pics...
