HI all I just finished pulling my supercharger off and dismantled it ready for machining by mace and replacing all the bearings in it. Is normal Degreaser ok to use to clean the inside of the rotor housing and the rotors. Cheer Chris

Well I bow down to the knowledge of the group, I decided to change the stalk first, I cant believe how quick and easy it was, it took me all of 10 min and that includes pulling it out of the other car. I then took it for a 20 min drive and it worked perfectly didn't drop out switched on straight...

Cheers guys, I kind of ruled out the indicator stalk as It does not even turn on sometimes but when it does it will set fine and the drop out. I guess I could always change the stalk as well from the other car if needed. Cheers Chris

I usually clean the MAF fairly regularly last time I cleaned the filter I didn't re oil it, I figured I don't drive the car anywhere really dusty so hopefully it will be ok.

I was running it on BP ultimate 98. You asked about the capacity of the tow bar looking at the one you have I would say it is only a 1200km one maybe 1600kg I got a 2100kg one for my VT and it has a brace that runs under the fuel tank aswell.. They should have a sticker on them stating their capacity. Chris

Forget the Ecotec and go and get a 3.5 V6 out of a Jackeroo or Rodeo they are dohc and multivalve and put out more stock power than an ecotec. Chris

Yeh I figured Dr Bobs would probably be a bit more of a custom sort of tune compared to the Mace Chip. Any idea where I would get a spare memcal from as I would like to keep my original chip if at all possible. chris

I emailed Dr Bob and got a quote from him he wants $260 for a changeover memcal or I can get one from the site sponsors Mace engineering for $150 non changeover. Which do you think will give the best result? Chris
