got a problem i replaced my original head unit in the Vt for a custom setup some time ago and somehow threw out the original headunit ( i think it got damaged) now im getting car ready for sale i bought another headhunit via ebay it came with the code but cant find the ruddy thing i cant contact...

some forums refer to the inlet manifold gaskets as LIMs sorry about that

you will find two bolts under the alternator (alternator comes of with the pulley assembly) then undo the nuts remove using a bar carefully the pipe that sits there (needs to be manuevered towards the front of car) then remove the bolts the nuts were on after this carefully wriggle the unit away...

i have just done a set of LIMs on the VTwagon flushed out the cooling system ect afterwards and everything seems fine under the bonnet no leaks engine runs fine But when you look out the rear there is a constant flow of exhaust gasses at idle, goes when you raise the revs, rev and drop and...

i am looking at fitting a 2din headunit into the stato and would really like it if others (if they have fitted 2din or 1din monitor headunits) into there Whs to post some pics so i can get some idea as to which size to go and what they look like when fitted (after trimming dash surround ect)...

great work Roger i started mine late last year ( believe it or not) i have the hole marked out just havent had the time to finish only i dropped the front roof lining to see what was there and then measured from each side of cars roof then that gave me a centre point from there marked out...

Hi guys know its not a car but after being stuffed around by guys on the likes of ebay ect thought would post here (cant hurt) i no longer can ride due to medical reasons so selling the od reads 620ks but had head unit replaced (under warranty) has had a fault at 5000ks still has till Feb 08...

first things first start by using a test light and see if you are getting current at the actual socket if not pull out and do same with wires if theres power to the wires and not the outlet then replace if no current at the wires (not sure which one ) but do a search for fuses and you will find...
