Run in tune would be running rich rather than lean if I remember correctly.. After the running in time has finished his tuner said he'd be looking at around 350rwkw after a new tune.

And yeah he said he would drive it down, but not sure if he was talking bout driving down if I just wanna look at it or Only if I'm willing to buy it.

Running lean will melt pistons due to very high combustion temperatures. Wouldn't the tune be to do with ignition timing and fuel map etc etc

23k?? thats expensive, i brought my v6 for 10k with 83k's on the clock.. Dunno why anyone would want a v8 with fuel prices these days. Make sure you think about it, really..

Because they don't use as much fuel as you think.

Nah I didn't. Guy was from streaky bay which is an 8 hour drive from me. He was meant to bring it down for me to have a look at it but he bailed out. So I just left it..

Pretty big step down interior wise from a VY to a VX, Friend of mine has a VX, I have a VY n another mate has a VZ, the VX feels so dated compared to the VY's and VZ's. Don't get my wrong VX's are an awesome looking car but I don't think he will want to step back to a VX if he is looking for that luxury feel of the calais again.
