So after months of stuffing around and procrastinating, I've finally got the adventra tailgate cut, shut and primed it's on the car, just spent 6 hours nutting out wiring and repining connectors, I've got everything working bar the wiper motor, I want to use the "fancy" auto park motor and tailgate module with all its smarts but I can't find a single pinout of the module on the internet, nor can I find a tailgate/ vehicle wiring diagram for the addy, was there just no documentation of the wiring or have I just searched the wrong things for the last three moths?

Any help would be good

i really just need to know what the solid green wire is doing at the tailgate module, I don't know if it's power, ground or a signal wire and I'd rather not experiment and kill a hard to find module.

So you have installed a Adventra tailgate to a standard Commodore wagon ?,
Cut and shut ?
Wow !,

Would it not been easier to source a standard replacement one ?.

Back on track,
The service manual is what you require for the wiring,
The link is listed in a fair few posts,
It’s downloadable to a “PC” only,
It has all the schematic diagrams that you may require,
I think I read somewhere the rear wiper control module is in the tailgate,
Don’t recall seeing it myself tho.

Won’t work on a mobile device.
Won’t work from the link.
Download the link as is on a computer and wth that file structure.
It’s a big file and it should be. There’s a lot.

Next: I want photos. Post them.

Amazing job, and in my opinion, it’s how every wagon should have been.

It would have been, I wanted the opening rear glass, that was easy as a quick google told me what pin at the bcm controlled the boot release, ran a fresh cable down for that and now the glass pops with the factory boot button, the cutting of the boot wasnt that bad just alot of peeling back of seams to cut it right and a bit of panel beating to fold a new seam along the cut curve

I think I'm one of the only people in aus without home wifi and a pc. As for pics, she's an dirty bus, she sees more dirt roads and mud than the average 4x4 so the paints stuffed xD

Along with the addy boot I also have one of the addys larger boot pockets (right side) so I have the dc socket in there and extra storage, I was going to put the left one in but I already have my dc panel in the stock jack location and both the cx felt pocket and the lx sub would block it so I gave it to my inlaw and now he has it in his wagon, he'll probably get my other addy tailgate once I cut it for him haha.

Normally wagons have 2 button keys,
I am assuming you have 3 button keys going by your comment,

Based on that, that would have been a expensive conversion,
Tailgate,
Tailgate modifications,
Key purchase and programming,
Did you install the release button in the glovebox for the tail gate glass ?
(same button as a boot release button on a sedan)

I havnt got to the 3 button key yet, I've got a boot pop like the sedans have in the glovebox, all the wiring is there in the wagon and Ute's, it's just the pin from the x4 connector to the tailgate is missing, had a donor car so I cut the x4 off, took a pin out and connected it to the wire run to the boot, worked 1st time.

All up for the 2 tailgate I bought, the boot pockets and supplies I'm under $200.

I'll have to get a key reprogrammed later anyway (dredding that) as my buttons are f****d I've already replaced them in the key head twice, cbf doing it again and the key head is looking mangled.

Seems like my reply to you from earlier is stuck in mod approval, idk why.

I don't have home internet or a pc so I'm out of luck with those doccos, I found your link a while ago before I started the conversion and messed around with attempting to download it and get it to run but it never downloaded more than 2mb

If I get a chance I’ll have a dig around later and see if I can find the relative diagrams for you and post them.
