k thanx guys. personally, i am really glad to hear everyone sharing their experiences and offering each other advice.

thanx mike, that just about sums it up. i'm gonna hafta look at whats getting to me i think.

dvs_24, i can understand your position, it's as if when you back there you might find something you don't like. on the other hand, if a little one's on the way, think about how it would feel not being able to do things with him/her. little things that make a difference, like watching their sports matches, helping with homework, because you are too ill or you aren't there to watch them grow up. those thoughts might be enough motivation to think "No, i will be there for all of that, i'm going to the doctors." just an idea, and by the sounds of it, you've got a good friend in your wife. she'll stick by ya i reckon, and it would be a shame to not be able to do things with her, now and in the future. i don't know how it affects the rest of your body, so i'm just going by a 'worst case' scenario.

twinturbo's, sorry to hear about your dad mate, that's sad. but your dad had the idea and motivation we all need to follow. he set a great example, and without those kind of people in our lives, it wouldn't open our eyes to what might happen, and how we should take it. of course i can't talk, i am really quick to snap at the moment...

hey hows it going,iv'e had ups and downs, got it under control though, had a normal GP visit today, for something else :).
22/42..thats not bad is it ? i mean it's a pass isn't? i don't know what the pass marks are now,it's been 25 years since i've been to school, and things have changed...if you feel the need to study harder, don't push it to hard, relax with it,don't panic, if you can't figure anything out,ask a fellow classmate that you get on well with, or ask your teacher, make him/her earn their salary :)

hahaha, that isn't overly bad for a specialist maths test (maths 2 for those a bit behind) but my problem is i need like almost a perfect score to get into my uni course. plus my parents have high expectations for me, and that gets me a bit worked up. lol otherswise, it is 52.5%, or just a pass :D

My relationship with my dad hasnt always been very good. I kinda gave him alotta crap when I was growing up (I have a short temper even to this day) It was hard at school cause billies dad was a bricky freds dad was a copper and my dad was in bed sick. Sport was outta the question (dad has the lung capacity of an 80yr old smoker).Made me learn sumfin that may help ya a bit cruizn calais, Problems occur, its how we DEAL with these problems that define us.... Living with people is hard be it family or friends, but you have got to remember no matter what happens (big fight, rude comment etc) you still care for them and im sure they care dearly 4 u. With ur temper take up a sport (i used to enjoy snapping pplz in soccer) or take out that aggresion on a punching back or turn your extra energy into muscle with weights. With ur mate leaving ur area get him to get the net wherever he moves, then u can chat wit him on msn. Also if you wanna make a few new friends go along to a JC cruise day  or similar to meet sum like minded pplz. Good luck n hope the above helpz a little :D

well thats still good, you have achieved something i never did :)...and probably more than someone else may of achieved on here as well,so thats got to say something doesn't it....parents will always expect more from their children,it's just nature, they simply want you to have the best in life.

It's all in the mind... a good doctor can help overcome these issues.

my lil brother has just started having panic attacks, hes a big boy (i mean built) confident as hell and well liked... its quite scarey to see him freaking out and unable to breathe ect..... they dont happen often but quite often after a night on the booze hell start getting worried the next day and it sort of snowballs from there,

we all give him s**t cos he just got engaged and hes just getting cold feet :p

panic attacks is crap, you only get them if you are a baby cuz I had some when I was 8 years old for only 2 months than got cured without Doctors or anything. That is what I think.

at high school you guys have REAL problem (Like matty88) and belive it or not the cure is Gangs ! yes when gangs start to form problems stop (like being bullyed) and your teachers are stupid to leave Bully kids on there on.

in Saudi Arabia the teacher have the FULL RIGHT to BEAT THE **** out of you if you heart other people, and I'TS WORKING. No body start a fight in the school or even near the school

As per usual you talk alot of crap. Panic attacks or anxiety are very much real and anyone of any age or gender can suffer from them. My wife is 35 and she has recently suffered from them. I admit I don't really understand it because I don't suffer from them but I know that they are very much real. A few years back I had to take my wife to the hospital because she thought she was having a heart attack but it was a serious case of anxiety and nothing to do with her heart. It's not something you can be 'cured' from. You just learn to manage it and minimise it.
