Need help.
Bout a month ago, was driving the crewman back from a tip run, and it started acting as if it was low on fuel. Indicator was showing 110k on range, and I'd just fixed the sensor, so it is accurate. And there was no warnings or lights on the dash to indicate anything wrong.

When the tow truck/RACQ showed up, car would start, but would die immediately after. Got it towed home and in the last month have replaced:
Coils
Plugs
Purge solenoid
Injectors

I also recently installed a 3 core radiator, with new hoses, thermostat and gaskets. And replaced the fuel pump and assembly not two years ago, so they should be fine too.

After putting everything together, and throwing in some new fuel, the car starts, will idle, then rev a little (maybe 200rpm) and die immediately after. Wondering if anyone has any ideas, cause I'm running out of them, and I need the car back soon.

Should also add that I change the oil regularly on it. Had just done an oil change before this happened, and found not metal in the filter or drain pan.

If the car runs a MAF sensor, check for air leaks in the intake hoses.

Just an update. It seems to be happening at exactly the same moment everytime. I have a volt gauge and noticed that it seems to be happening when the motor switches from battery to alternator (volts go from 12 to 13, revs go up, engine dies).

Would this indicate an electrical problem?

Have you scanned for codes? That might give you a clue.

Check fuel pressure
Check for spark
Check for intake vacuum leaks with smoke test.

There are some **** pumps out there on the market. Would not amaze anyone if the new pump was rooted

Have the charge circuit tested
Have the battery health checked
Have the battery load tested

Check all your fuses for continuity

Get a $25 relay checker and check all relays under repeated load.

Further checks to be done would involve back probing plugs and using osciloscope check timing and crank signals.

To get to the bottom of these things requires quite specialised skills and specialised equipment. It won’t be an easy thing to sort. Even the automotive industry is poorly skilled to fault find these sorts of problems.

Yeah. Done multiple scans. No fault codes. The only codes I got was when I forgot to plug back in the throttle controller

Dam... That's a list.
Battery is good. Have done all that, and its brand new.
Looking to get in and check fuel pump/pressure tomorrow. As well as the O2 sensors. Just ran through all the relays and fuses with a multimeter and everything seemed fine. I also, from another forum, ran a quick earth check from the altinator and all earth contacts were good.

If I can't work it out tomorrow, I'm just gonna have to get it towed to a shop. Just a real pain.

when engine is cranking timing is controlled by DFI
once engine starts DFI switches to ECU controlled timing
so i would be investigating a fault in the DFI or wiring/connectors to DFI

Tried to have a look at dfi, and where it's located. Looks like it was something on the ecotecs. Couldn't find anything in them in the alloytecs. Any I deal where it's located?
