Of course, seems pointless to turn them on and off on my own when the sensors are perfectly good and I can tell from the dash lights when they come on.

I know some people who don't like the auto headlight feature for some reason so they don't use it.

I noticed with the VE's that the headlights are always on "auto". One problem I have noticed with that is the headlights switch on while i'm lifting the car on the hoist and then I have to drop it down again to turn them off. The ignition isn't even on, just acc. This also happens with BA/BF/FG Falcons if the switch is on Auto.

When I first got mine, it has aftermarket foggies but didn't have the proper foglight switch for it, so I swapped it out, still had the auto option but needed to have the on/off pop-out option.

Yep. Mostly. Only turn them to "on" if for some reason I want to turn them on during the day.
