main issue was the VT VX VY VZ modules when aftermarket made them the sender readings around empty to 1/4 were almost the same so u got to 1/4 and in no time u were empty, where as factory was a more linear, then also all the stuff ups with the backwards reading sender that only suited one series

When I said VT style I meant that as a broad term it's a complete aftermarket unit and would not fit any commodore.
It's float is internal to the unit so not as accurate as a OE sender but can be mounted in any steel tank.
