sweet, I'm about to take mine back down to 6000k as the 8000 is a touch to purple. would be great if i can find a 7000k phillips h11 globe kit.

Thank to sp001in for this awesome write up. I installed mine on the weekend with great results. I mounted the ballasts in different spots to sp001in if anyone is interested in pics feel free to PM me.

This thread needs a warning it's illegal. Also 8000k is stupidly blue.

I went for 5000k because it's a white light. I believe it is anyway

5000k is what kelvin the latest merc HID's are from memory.

Has anyone got pics incar of these lights. I use to have a set in my old skyline behind projector lenses an the light was scattered and don't want this happening in my wk
