At least they take sides... ours takes 1 side; the one with the deepest pockets. Our Deamoncrats always calls the Republconts the rich ones; the media, helliwood, bankers, military industrial complex lean to the left (Dem).

From the article.

Malcolm Turnbull on climate change? Well no, because he's bound by what his party wants.

When our politicians start "Preaching" climate change I stop listening. Is the new religion and does not matter if you hit them with fact is all real to them.

Anyway....
Our telly is one gigantic billboard. Our news are littered with

Product Placement and Native Advertising, is unwatchable. We watch a lot of streaming media to avoid the constant bombardment. During election time that is pretty much every year and intensifies during the end of the term. The constant bickering wears you out to no end. At the end is all about who makes the best jokes.

Calaber asked me about our Medical system and reading the article is about starting a Medicaid like we have?

In the states is a program that help the poor and the incapacitated; the bill is footed by the working tax payer. However, like anything we have in the US that generates money (gov), our Congress take loans using those programs funds as colateral. At the end, seems like a good deal but in reality the people is geting a **** service. If you guys implement that system be vigilant about using the funds as colateral for pork. The people are misinformed and does not give 2 shits to research.

ya mum!
ALP are getting desperate. Even the lowest of the lowest scum in this country can get lower as it seems Labor and its supporters are proving.

One of the catch phrases they're using as of today: "Vote Labor or get cancer"

And then there's this classic from earlier in the week:

ALP = Low life, bottom feeding, dirty rotton, union loving, scum!

Raj.

If the ALP's scare campaign, which is based on lies, works for them and they win the election, what does it tell you about the Australian voting public?

I'm sitting up next Saturday night to watch the tesults being analysed from beginning to end praying that by around 8.30 to 9.0, it will be obvious that the public is smarter than Shorten and Co. Give them credit for.

Exactly.... on the US side, the left wingers (Dem) controls the media and you see how the US is. Takes us as one gigantic experiment on propaganda. For example, we are pros on convincing people to buy crap they do not need.

Madonna King: Where have all the leaders gone?

Good summary of our current political situation.

My friend's quip about John Howard, who lost his seat, government and the prime ministership at the same time, was brought on by the witless and loopy gun laws that rule in America.

Here is what that "loopy" gun law says...

The#Second Amendment#of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Read carefuly and tell me if is what you hear the same crap as the US media. Is very clear and is not "giving" the rights to bear arms; it tells the Gov to back off.

The comments, from a swinging voter, were uttered only half in jest, and followed the chilling news that a gun-happy United States was being forced to deal with another massacre.

Germany shooting: Gunman shot dead by police after cinema hostage attempt

The irony is, in Germany is hard, way harder to obtain a gun. More people die on car accidents in the USA than shot by a firearm. The word shot can be counted as accidental discharge in the US, same as bumping someone with a car. Anyway... my side arm of choice is a 9mm Sig Sauer P226; they make some darn good hardware.

Do you guys hear the meme "Assult Style Weapon" in the news? We do constantly.
