Thanks mate, yeah I am pumped about the car overall, the power output is a bonus.

I would have taken the car for that price if it was pretty much stop because it was so clean inside about out.

The amount of work done to it was a complete surprise. Just lucky that I stumbled across it.

Yeah, going to run it on 98RON all the time it looks like.

I don't want to find out what happens if I put 95PULP in it. I assuming pinging at the top end but I'm not keen to find out. :)

Plus, it pull so hard that I'll probably never need to take it past 300rpm! lol.

Jest, that's sick dude! Great find then.

Haha. Convince your fiance to let you convert it to straight Liquid Injection LPG.

335rwkw turns into 360+rwkw and fuel is half the price.

FAAAAAAAAAAARK!

Picked up the car, drove it about 500m down the road and something is not right. Speedo is showing 60kmph when I'm keeping up with traffic in a 80kmph.

Pull over, turn GPS on with speed, drive, yep, speedo is out by about 20kmph.

Like the owner switched out a 3.9 or 4.11 diff for the 3.46 just before selling it. Without getting it reset.

So the dealer is taking it to Holden to get the speedo re-calibrated, but I'm just hoping Holden can do it since it had a tune!

Car has been returned and should have it back by the end of the week.

Pretty sure you can correct the speedo bit with a tech 2. No need to touch the tune.

Yeah, I'm hoping this is the case.

I just remember with the VX when I put a 3.73 diff in I had to get Dr Bob to do it as Holden said they said the gearing chance was too great or something.

HSV VZ's all run 3.46 diff gears auto or manual stock.
Only the earlier VT2-VY's ran 3.73 in manuals and 3.07 in auto's.
You still should be able to have it corrected, plenty of guys running 3.9's in place of 3.07's which is a bigger difference than what you are looking at.

Oh yeah, I know if can be corrected, I'm just not sure if Holden will be able to do it.

I know that any tuning shop could do it in 5min.

Man that thing is killer. I absolutely love it. And wheels suit it really well, they are hard to come by compared to other holden wheels.
Best of luck with it
