Infill plate to centre the rear number plate always looks good on those utes.

Never knew about that - I'm unsure how I feel about centering it haha!

I did more research into the plates and what the mechanic said checks out - if the valley plate is changed but the lifters aren't, they have 10-20PSI lower oil pressure issues. Just need to figure out how he saw the plate..

Yeah , because I think threes no difference on the outside. just the way the baffle plate thing is under the plate

Okay so I've picked the car up and talked about that DOD thing. The mechanic pointed out a hose that non DOD cars have. I was pretty skeptical but he had 2 other l76s there and they both didn't have it.

Tomorrow I'll chuck up a photo and let me know if your car has it - sounds silly but might aswell humour ourselves.

In the good news, car is all done. Runs sick and loves burning tyres lol..
I'll put up a dyno sheet but it got 245.8kw

Drives so much smoother and much more fun to drive. But I feel it's not going to be enough for long lol

Yeah man , doesn't matter what the dyno sheet says . As long as your happy .

240-260 is around the right mark for a "stock" l76/L98 and with a Accurate dyno lol .

Alright well a few pics, came up really well. Bloody exhaust hits the ground of my driveway so i'm not sure what to do about that..

Trayner - can you look at your car on the next two pictures, one zoomed in, one zoomed out - shows a hose.
The guys were adamant that hose is NOT on DOD models - didn't explain what it did but the other models did not have it that he showed me. (hose with red writing)

And now a quick OTR and exhaust pic..

As i said the DOD valley cover only caused oil pressure issue on actual AFM mode usually so it doesn't matter what valley cover is on the VZ 6ltr.

I still say check under the carpet for the build sheet and compare engine numbers too.

I was under the impression the sedan had DOD hardware and utes had the motors without.
