An Auto Redline can be picked up for around the mid 50's (and even below).

They have cut the prices of the SV Black, but still a hefty 67k, and if you want the sunroof you are well into the low 70's.

Can anyone tell me what the extra 17-18k is going towards?

The brand, cosmetic changes, additional Kw, brakes, console dial, wheels?

Have I missed anything?

I really like the Black, but if I am getting towards 70k, I might as well go an extra 5 grand and have the LSA.

Once again, confused as to where this car sits?

You get bigger brakes that cost more for consumables, bigger wheels with more expensive tyres, a nice looking body kit, 36 additional killer wasps but the same number of newtons finest and a bigger insurance bill. In time parts will be harder to source and don't break any of the body kit.

It's actually about 25 extra killerwasps, they use different measurement standards.
Brakes & suspension & a badge ... that's pretty much it.

I got the price down to about 63 for a HSV Black. That's not bad. It is tempting. But I want to know what 2017 redline has to offer

I think the fact that they're already discounting the Black editions so much speaks for itself. $63k driveaway is tempting but I agree with you, MY17 special editions will be better value if they pan out the way we expect.

As others have said, you can get them for low $60's, so maybe $7k over a Redline.

If they had the true HSV seats, I would get one.
But they don't so I can't.

Agree Flukey, the seats are such a draw, they're so much better than the Redline seats.
Upgrading to HSV seats costs $3300 at Tekno FYI. I'm thinking of doing this to my MY17 Redline.
The 400kw power pack and HSV seats comes in at around $10k. Expensive but then you have the equivalent of a LSA HSV.

I liked the sv. But the lack of sunroof and hsv seats was a deal breaker. Now waiting for my17 redline.

the HSV does get the MSE now so it should sound even better than first round GenF. The Black is what the MY17 SSVR will be.
