Not really, I use a small old flat head with a slight bend in it, push the door trim in as you slide the screwdriver in behind the winder. Just take care to hold your free hand ready to catch the clip as it can FLY off!!!great thread.....electric window models are always the easiest to pull out my VT SS has winding windows and those circlips can be a prick if you dont have the right tool
To put the winder back on slip the curclip back onto the winder first then push it in to the spline and give the winder a decent but gentle thump. All done!
