this whole reputation thing seems to be a problem.

why not just get rid of it or at least make it that any reputation posts have to be moderator approved first.
that would go a long way to stopping the bullshit

The reputations are occassionally reviewed by mods, but not all the time. Somedays I have a look at all the reputation left that day but most days I don't have the time. If you ask a mod/admin to review a reputation you think is unfair we are more than happy to do so and delete it if necessary.

I say wtf? For one, leave your name if you're gonna rep me.. And secondly, wtf's wrong with that post..

I wish there was a way to enforce the leaving of your name, I find generally only those that leave bad reps for you don't state who they are. Keyboard chickens I guess.

That's not quite true, users can't leave feedback until they become a full member (I think is 10 posts) and depending on their own current amount of reputation their comments can have more weight (but I'm not sure if this is imposed) Although I agree it's got some flaws, if you guys don't like it you can just disable it!

Now when are we getting and eBay style thing where we can leave feedback for things we've bought/sold in the For Sale sections.. would make trading a lot safer

I got bad rep for cracking a Joke about magna's LOL but at least he told me who he was but I don't think its right.
And someone else gave me a bad as well for saying ecotecs are better than non ecotecs even though I listed the features of the ecotec V6 campared to a non ecotec.
