Made our way from Moles Creek to New Norfolk on the Derwent River today, stopping at Ross on the way, where we devoured a couple of their famous scallop pies.
Sat on 110ks most of the way, camper van in tow. Probably took us about Three and a half hours with the stop at Ross.
I suspected a slow puncture in the offside rear tyre. Took it to the local Tyre Power in New Norfolk. Sure enough, a nail. Guy fixed it within an hour and was happy to take fiddy cash
All set up, we wandered up to the old ‘Bush Inn’ which has now been taken over by trendees calling it ‘Pirate Life’. Needed to take out a second mortgage on the kids inheritance with a couple of pints of Guinness and two house wines costing $54.00, but hey, we’re on holiday right? And anyway, we were only having a homemade ham and cheese Sanger for tea.
