Made our way from Moles Creek to New Norfolk on the Derwent River today, stopping at Ross on the way, where we devoured a couple of their famous scallop pies.
Sat on 110ks most of the way, camper van in tow. Probably took us about Three and a half hours with the stop at Ross.
I suspected a slow puncture in the offside rear tyre. Took it to the local Tyre Power in New Norfolk. Sure enough, a nail. Guy fixed it within an hour and was happy to take fiddy cash:)
All set up, we wandered up to the old ‘Bush Inn’ which has now been taken over by trendees calling it ‘Pirate Life’. Needed to take out a second mortgage on the kids inheritance with a couple of pints of Guinness and two house wines costing $54.00, but hey, we’re on holiday right? And anyway, we were only having a homemade ham and cheese Sanger for tea.

We took our darling wee (not so wee) girl to the vet today for her annual checkup and vacinations. As per normal she played up that is until we went into the surgery then she remembered where we were and tried to backpedal. However to no avail. $267 later.

She hurt her leg playing through the fence with next doors Great Dane. She might be a lot smaller than him but we daren't put them together as she would probably hurt him even though she only wants to play. We haven't been able to walk her until today. When it came to put her on the scales we got quite a shock. She has lost about 4 kg. Doesn't make sense.
Does it look like she has dropped 4kgs? Could the scales be off? Does she dance around on them like my idiots do?

I was at the doctors yesterday and he asked my weight, I gave him a weight and then his nurse weighted me and it was less than what I said. Winning!

Wow, isn't this interesting. I can get a package from Istanbul quicker than I can get something from Qld. I ordered some paint, the label was created on the 12th it took 3-4 days to get picked up yet it's already in Melbourne and should arrive Mon or Tuesday next week. Yet a parcel from Qld can ship the next day, and its still at least two weeks before it arrives.

And people think more government ran enterprise would be good.
I’ve had plenty of packages from the US arrive quicker than QLD/WA to Vic.

Yeah, I spent two and a half weeks in hospital with a badly broken leg and lost 16 kg.
