Glass in sliding doors should be safety (heat treated) glass with safetly markings to stopp peole walking into it, if i remember my AUS standards correctly.

As such, before the heat treating process you could have ceramic powder stensiled on the glass (mid level for humans and lower level for paws) which will then melt into the glass during treatement and thus leave a permanant marking... much much better than stickers that will peel...

Probably worth asking for this in glass quote / insurance claim

The solid door has the markings. The slider doesn’t?

I made my dad some stickers for his sliding door years ago and he used some acetone to remove the old markings so I think not all of the glass has markings etched?

I have frosted vinyl and a rainbow of colours, I can make all of the stickers!

I checked my insurance excess this morning. At $750 the glass replacement will be cheaper than the excess.
