Is the current minimum age of 16 to obtain a drivers license suitable? Yes. (L plates)

South Australia has minimum requirements to move from a Learners Permit to a Provisional License. Should these requirements be increased in S.A?
L's at sixteen. P's at 17, a minimum of 12 months after getting L's

Yes / No. / Maybe

Other states in Australia restrict Learners and ‘P Platers’ from driving high powered and high performance cars. Should South Australia do the same? Yes , V6 should be allowed but V8's and turbo's excluded.

I hope that helps.

Explain your answer:
100 hrs is enough for 95%.

Other states in Australia restrict Learners and ‘P Platers’ from driving high powered and high performance cars. Should South Australia do the same? Yes it would probably be wise.

Explain your answer above: S.A and any other interstaters heading to victoria must be 28 plus (unless female 21 and above accepted). If we can get the laws in now im thinking i will only have to tolerate the same ********s on the road now instead of more ********s next year and the years after.
Tasmanians: Should be void of any laws as is the case there already with incest and beastiality. 12 years old should be fine for them to get there full license concidering there two 12 year old heads might be equal to a 17 year old. Actually why do tasmanians need licenses? They live with there sisters/girlfriends..

Explain your answer above:
You can kill yourself in any car, but it is alot easier when you have several hundred horsepower and no idea how to drive. Teach learner drivers car control off the streets and if they cannot control the car they shouldn't be allowed to have a license.

18-20. 16 year olds are to immature and don't take driving seriously and are not responsible enough to abide by the law.

South Australia has minimum requirements to move from a Learners Permit to a Provisional License. Should these requirements be increased in S.A? No.

Explain your answer:
If the minimum age to obtain a learners permit gets put up, then no. If u have 2 drivers, one a 16 year old, one a 20 year old. Both have just got their Learners permit. After 6 months of learning the ropes, the 20 year old driver would of gained alot more knowledge and skills then the 16 year old. Why? Because he would be more mature and responsible, and a lot more sinks in, where as with the 16 year old, it goes in one ear and out the other.

Other states in Australia restrict Learners and ‘P Platers’ from driving high powered and high performance cars. Should South Australia do the same? Yes. If u have a 202 or an LS1, they can both get to 200km/h. The difference, and the ingredient which makes the high powered car a lot more dangerous, is that it can reach that high speed in a short amount of time. The 202 barely has enough power to break traction taking off around a corner, the LS1 would break traction (both wheels) and u could end up hitting a car, up a curb, in someone's front yard. Young drivers are too immature to be driving powerful cars full stop.

Explain your answer above: More rigorous driver training and education is needed not only in South Australia but Australia wide. This includes retests every "X" amount of years for current licensed drivers.
