VX II Acclaim Wagon.
Not BT1, not original 'cop motor'., rough inside and out. Hardly inspiring.

It's been offered to me for $100 so I might just drive it to the scrap yard, take out the dissy and leave it there...

Depends on what you refer to as rough......Surprisingly enough as DARREN L said, parts are getting hard to get. ....So wrecking it might make you a few more bucks than scrapping it (IMA in S.A scrap prices are about $50 for a whole car)

I recently bought a rear cut for my VC (VH are nearly identical)......cost me $200.....6cyl VH tac dash $60.....SLE door trims....$150....It came from a wreckers 80 K from my place......and it was the first place I could find early commodore parts after trying 12 different wreckers

If it's that big of a **** box and if he is willing to part it out then sure, it might be worth $100.
If he's not willing it pull it apart & it is a shitbox, he probably wont even get $50 from a scrap company.

Too many
For $100 Id grab it in a heartbeat if it were local. Better to save it or at least part it out so it can be used rather than going to scrap.

$100 is good for something to scrap. I just sold the bottom pulley off the harmonic balancer and steering column for more than that on a VH wreck. There are plenty of desirable parts on a V8 Commodore. Parts worth over $100
-Dissy and leads
-Bonnet with guards
-Correct prefix Trimatic for 5L VH
-10 bolt
-Tailshaft in right colour

If the history doesn't add up and if you can store it for a while and then let people come and pull out a few bits and pieces they want, you'll probably get you money back pretty quick. Or, you can pull out the more valuable bits and flog them off.

Then flog whats left for scrap
